ROME, GA – America Recycles Day will be celebrated on Monday, November 15 and local organizations have a full schedule for the day.
· Volunteers from Keep Rome Floyd Beautiful will be on hand at the Rome-Floyd Recycling Center from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. with prizes and information to give out.
· Members of the Recycling Center & County staff will be visiting the five satellite recycling locations around the county. Citizens who are caught recycling will receive a prize.

A few of the many drop-sites include DiPrima’s Shoes, the Library, the YMCA, the HomeMart, Regions Bank, River City Bank, Purple Mountain, Curves, and Rome Health Spa.
· The last Computer and Electronics Recycling Collection event of 2010 at the Rome Floyd County Recycling Center is scheduled for Saturday, November 13. Call 706.291.5266 to schedule an appointment. Get that stuff cleaned out before the holidays!
