Rome, Ga. - On the heels of a very successful Howl at the Moon fundraising event, Claws & Paws will be holding its second event November 20, 2010 at State Mutual Insurance, 1352 Redmond Road from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The 3rd annual Claws for Paws Seafood Sale is accepting preorders now. 100% of profits go to Sterile Feral and the Floyd County Animal Shelter. Deadline for orders is Monday, November 15. Event organizers are encouraging people to preorder to guarantee that the products are available.
“We have moved the sale this year to the Saturday before Thanksgiving so that our customers can buy for their holiday guests,” said Nancy Knight, Co-chair of Claws and Paws. This is a great opportunity to help our animal friends in need and at the same time get the freshest, best quality seafood and meats available.”
“We are pleased to have this gift of compassion from such a tremendous group,” said Jason Broome, Animal Shelter Manager. “We will certainly make the best use of the help they have worked so hard to provide the animals we house here at the shelter.”
