ROME, Ga.  – The Floyd County Board of Commissioners and Manager’s Office are proud to announce the release of the 2009 Annual Report.

The theme of the report this year is Planting Seeds for the Future, and focuses on projects around the county in the early stages. The report shows how planning for the future now will help us in the future.

Also included in the report are performance measurements of two county departments as compared to the ICMA Center for Performance Measurement and the County Revenues and Expenditures.

“We chose to highlight several key areas this year in the Annual Report,” said Blaine Williams, Assistant County Manager. “Economic Development, several SPLOST projects, and Communication are just a few of the areas we touched on. We feel that it is important to let our stakeholders, the citizens, know what is happening within the County.”

The Annual Reports are available at select locations around town and at the County Administration Building. It can also be viewed online here.
