National Weather Service Storm Spotter Training
 
ROME – March 29, 2012 at 6:00 pm, the National Weather Service will be conducting a Severe
Weather Storm Spotter Class at Georgia School for the Deaf, which is located at 232 Perry Farm
Road, Cave Spring, GA  30124. The class is scheduled to last about two (2) hours and will
discuss the elements that make up severe weather, severe weather safety, and offers certification
as a National Weather Service Severe Weather Spotter. This class is free and open to the public,
the class will be held in the school auditorium. Georgia School for the Deaf will provide
translators for the deaf and hearing impaired.
