JOB SUMMARY:
Perform score-keeping duties using proper methods, forms and books and strive to improve these duties.
MAJOR DUTIES:
Report game results to the Recreation Authority, maintain records, time sheets and incident reports; respond to public inquiries regarding sports and other programs. In addition, this position will enforce the Parks & Recreation Authority rules and regulations and will provide a high level of customer service for patrons of RFPRA.
• Complete knowledge of softball rules and the league’s “special” ground rules
• Ability to maintain accurate records, enforce regulations and policies to the visiting public
• Ability to work with difficult people in a competitive setting
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must be able to pass a criminal history background check as required by the Child/Adult Abuse Information Act
• Must be able to physically see, hear and run as needed
• Must be able to respond and react to an emergency in an effective manner
• Must be able to physically work outdoors for during softball season
• Must be able to sit for extended periods of time in all kinds of weather conditions
