Workweek: M-F 8am-5pm; 1hr. lunch; Non-Exempt, Full-time w/benefits
General Description:
This position is responsible for customer service delivery and operational and technical personnel duties. The primary function is to provide daily support needed to ensure all human resources administration functions are handled in the most effective and efficient manner and held in the highest confidential level. Task include, but not limited to, FMLA administration, employee benefits and compensation programs and technical support, maintain employee personnel files to ensure compliance with policy and regulatory requirements, provide HR policy guidance and interpretation, and other duties as assigned. Work Experience Requirements:
•Thorough working knowledge of state and federal regulatory compliance related to EEO, FLSA, FMLA, HIPAA, EAP, USERRA, ADA, COBRA, GINA, etc.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Tyler/MUNIS Operating Systems helpful).
•Strong problem solving/analytical skills; excellent organizational, time management, interpersonal and communications skills (verbal and written).
•Must be detail oriented and a multi-tasker.
•Ability to work from a priority list and meet deadlines.
•Ability to effectively deal with a diverse group of people and situations.
Minimum Requirements:
•Associate’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business, or related field (Bachelor’s Degree and PHR Certification preferred).
•Three to five years of progressively responsible experience in all levels of personnel and benefits administration.
•Must obtain and maintain the SHRM/PHR certification within 12 months of employment, or as soon as eligibility requirements are met.
•Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
