Municipal Court has jurisdiction to issue warrants, try cases, and impose sentences in all misdemeanor Traffic , City Ordinance, Environmental, Civil, and Animal Control violations which occur in the city limits of Rome.

Due to the recent surge in COVID-19 cases in Northwest Georgia and in an effort to implement precautions that are consistent with those in place in the Superior Court of Floyd County, masks will be required for all parties entering the Municipal Court of Rome, regardless of vaccine status, until further Order of the Court.
