Description

Allison Watters is the co-owner of Do Good Boutique, a socially responsible retail shop. She grew up in Middle Tennessee and graduated from Kennesaw State University before moving to Rome in 1994 to serve as director of human resources at Redmond Regional Medical Center.
Since moving to Floyd County, Watters has made it her mission to be involved in the community and champion causes about which she is passionate. She is co-chair of Claws for Paws, a fundraising organization for animal welfare projects and co-chair of Faith Coalition for Families, an organization that focuses on supporting families in the foster care community. She has served on a variety of County Committee Boards. A past chair of the Heart of the Community Board of Directors, she was named one of the Heart of the Community Award recipients in 2016.
Watters is an active member of Rome First United Methodist Church, where she has facilitated an ecumenical women’s Bible study for many years. She is also a graduate of Leadership Georgia and a graduate and former coordinator of the Greater Rome Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Rome program, in which she met her husband, Ed.
Allison and Ed have two teenage daughters – Grace and Ivy.
