Kim Canada is a life long resident of Rome/Floyd County. He and his wife, Pam, reside in West Rome. Canada was educated at Coosa High School, and is a graduate of Southern Polytechnic University.
Canada is serving his second term as a City Commissioner first being elected in 2004.
As a City Commissioner, Canada currently serves as Chairman of General Administration, Chairman of Rome/Floyd Joint Development Oversight Committee. He also serves on the Water and Sewer Committee, Transportation Policy Committee, and Redevelopment Committee. Canada also serves as the City Commission appointee to the Northwest Georgia Region Commission, and serves on the Advisory Board to the Area Office of Aging for the Northwest Georgia Region, and is a current member of the Greater Rome/Floyd Chamber of Commerce.
