Chad Whitefield is an owner and director of Advance Rehabilitation Inc., a regional physical therapy corporation with its headquarters in Rome. He is also a partner in Schroeder’s New Deli in Armuchee. Chad and his wife Lauren have two children, and are members of West Rome Baptist church where he serves on the missions committee.

Chad is a member of  the Georgia Historical Society, The American Physical Therapy Association, Georgia Right to Life, Georgia Physical Therapy Association, and the Greater Rome Chamber of Commerce. He is also a volunteer coach with the Rome-Floyd Parks & Recreation Authority.

Whitefield serves as the 2011 Vice Chairman of the Board of Commissioners. In his capacity as a Commissioner, Chad serves as the Chairman of the Administrative/Finance Committee. He also serves on the Department of Family & Children Services Board, Fire Overview Committee, Floyd County Board of Health, Joint Development Oversight Committee, Joint Services Committee, Rome-Floyd Planning Commission, and the Rome-Floyd Solid Waste Commission.
