About this opportunity
The City of Rome, Georgia in partnership with the Fairview School/ES Brown Heritage Corporation is requesting proposals from qualified firms to provide Consulting Services for the purpose of developing a preservation plan for the historic Fairview School. The school is located on Padlock Mountain Road, Cave Spring, Georgia. The City of Rome and Fairview/ES Brown Heritage Corporation reserves the rights to accept, reject, and/or negotiate any or all proposals as determined by them to be in the best interest of the project. The City intends that the successful firm be awarded a contract that includes all tasks necessary to develop a preservation plan that would allow the historic building to potentially be restored to a historical presence. All work will be reviewed by the HISTORIC PRESERVATION DIVISION OF THE GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES and will be in compliance with all local, state and federal rules and guidelines.
