JOB SUMMARY:
The purpose of this classification is to manage, oversee and perform advanced supervisory and administrative duties associated with processing documentation, receiving, indexing, and recording Court case information and/or legal documents.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
•Supervises, directs, and evaluates assigned staff, processing employee concerns and problems, directing work, counseling, disciplining, and assisting with employee performance appraisals.
•Plans, organizes, and supervises activities of the department.
•Organizes and prioritizes department workload; makes work assignments; gives advice and direction; resolves more complex customer service and department issues; monitors status of work in progress; inspects completed work.
•Interprets and applies state and local laws; ensures departmental compliance with all applicable codes, laws, rules, regulations, standards, policies and procedures; initiates any actions necessary to correct deviations or violations.
•Develops and implements guidelines, standards, policies, procedures and internal controls; establishes goals and objectives; maintains existing policies and procedures; develops and maintains specifications and documents to automate department functions; helps develop and maintain office procedures.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or G.E.D and two (2) year(s) of experience in accounting, clerical work, or related field;equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
