Milton Slack has been a lifelong resident of the Greater Rome area. He was educated in local schools, and received his B.A. from Shorter College. He is a former Army reservist and is presently retired after 34 years of employment with Sears and 26 of those years in management.

Mr. Slack is a member of the North Rome Church of God and he and his wife, Clem, have two children and one grandchild.
