Rhonda is a life-long resident of Floyd County and a graduate of Model High School. She is a Vice-President of Private Client Services at Citizens First, a division of Synovus Bank. She has been in the banking industry for the past 25 years.  Rhonda is married to Ronnie Wallace and they have three adult children, Bradley, Heather and Haden and four grandchildren, Kenyan, Alyssa, Alex and Samantha.

Rhonda is currently the Treasurer and Board Member of the Children's Open Door Home, member of the Floyd Health Care Foundation fundraising committee, Rome Exchange Club, The Republican Women and a member of the Greater Rome Chamber of Commerce, where she serves on numerous committees. She is the past chair of the Rome-Floyd County Planning Commission and a past board member of the Greater Rome Chamber of Commerce. She and her husband are members of the West Rome Baptist Church.

Rhonda has received many honors for her community service. She is a 2005 recipient of the Heart of the Community, received the 2004 Woman of Excellence Award, the 2003 Wesley Johnson Leadership Award, 2001 Outstanding Club President Award and the first Female President and in 2000 was the Ambassador of the Year for the Greater Rome Chamber of Commerce.

Commissioner Wallace currently serves as Chair of the Floyd County Public Works Committee. She also represents the Board of Commissioners on the Criminal Justice Information Sharing (CJIS) Committee, Floyd County Board of Health, Highland Rivers Community Service Board, Rome-Floyd Joint Development Oversight Committee, Rolling Hills RC&D Council, Rome-Floyd Commission on Children & Youth, Rome-Floyd Solid Waste Commission and The Forum Civic Center Citizens Advisory Committee.
